Patriots v. Jets-Nov. 13

Hello fans, sorry I have been super lax on writing, tons on my plate. Tonight though was a special night, the game was set to place the first team in the AFC East. Rumors were running around about a changing of the guard and the patriots were done. Again the Patriots prove the nah sayers wrong and dominated the field against the Jets.
The game was truly tough fought in the first half, with injuries abound and in the second half most of the Patriots secondary defense was standing in. This did not dissuade the Patriots and they stood strong and they stood fast against the Jets. Three interceptions and numerous sacks for the Jets quarterback Sanchez, helped the high score split and virtually impossible return to the game for the Jets.
I am so proud of the game tonight, it was reminiscent of the Patriots of last year and not how they played the last two games.

Patriots v. Raiders...

Well everyone, where I live I didn't get to watch the game but that doesn't mean I was out of the loop. Thanks to family giving me play by play updates and of course the Internet, I was able to keep up with the game.
First off, I want to commend the Raiders for the attempt, the game was really tight the first half and it seemed from the start it would have been a good game. many factors were playing into that of course. Brady wasn't not doing so well in the first half, and the Raiders were playing like they cared. Well during the second half, that all changed and in the end the Patriots finished off the raiders with a score of 31-19.
Better luck next year Raiders, this is the only time you will meet and witness first hand the awesomeness of the Patriots.... Whoop!

Monday Night Football!!!!

Amazing game tonight, first i want to start off with a prayer for Dan Koppen to a speedy recovery...
I know the game is not exactly over as yet with 5 minutes left to play, but the score standing where it is and Wes Welker amazing 99 yard and a couple feet touchdown, I would say that this game is over.
Impressive attempts by the Dolphins defense, they look very winded against the Patriot no huddle offense. I am thoroughly happy about the game tonight.
I want to mention a word about Danny Woodhead, can anyone really stop this man? I am so impressed by his stats the past year and the start of this year. I find Danny amazing to watch squeeze through the pockets that he finds.
Such a great trade we made for the little brother that is our new Tight End, I see some great moves by this player this year.
Happy Monday all and many great wishes to another awesome Patriot season...

Pre-season vs. Lions

OK well that was a super humbling game. I am disappointed at the assumption from our team coaches that we are the most dominating team in the league. I admit that yes the Patriots holds many records within the NFL but still even in preseason the arrogance to not bring our entire defense to a game, especially after a very weak no practice off season thanks to the strike, well that's just plain stupid..

I am still a loyal fan but I am embarrassed by the effort made from the Patriots, we allowed all 3 the top quarterbacks for the Lions to score at least one touchdown, we pretty much gave up and stopped playing in the 4th quarter. Is this to be the path during regular season? I hope not, teams like the Lions, and the Jets are looking for these damaging games to affect morale of the team.

Please coach Bellicheck, do not under estimate the enemy again, always be prepared, always be ready and play every game like the title is on the line.

Wow!!

Holy cow!, Did all you watch that live butchering of Tampa Bay on thurs? I am so proud of the Patriots defense, really showing their power and dominance on the field. I have actual chills about the upcoming season. Could we have that actual undefeated season in our near future? I say its possible (Timmy). Anyways tremendous performance from all the Patriot players, Danny Woodhead, you are phenominal to watch play and see you duck through those pockets you always find... Tom, always an honor to watch you work the field and command your team... Cant wait for the upcoming games....

Oh on a side note, Chad Ocho Cinco, I hope you find a place on our team, but really man the name can go! Love your mama and use the name she gave you.....

Football is Back Baby!!!

The preseason has started and even though not all the pre-season games are set in stone, the ones that matter are.
The time has come for all the couch warriors to dust of their can cozies, break out the snack trays and crock pots and prepare for what is to be a most interesting season of football I think.
What makes it interesting? well imagine all the players that have been locked out most of the year, can we rely on the training that should have been happening? I don't think so. So maybe, hopefully, the playing field will be level and the truly dedicated players that still practiced and exercised during the off season will shine for us to admire.

Put aside all the animosity of the negotiations, and lets get ready to enjoy a thrilling year of football.....
